September Mission Field Report

Hello again Brothers & Sisters in Christ!  I, Donnie Ojemann, on site here in the prison mission field am excited to be able to report in on all the wonderful things our Father God is doing in the lives of those that chose to reach out to Him.

Thousands of recently convicted and sentenced men pour into our nation’s prison systems each month broken and lost inside and in need of God’s love.  Some of these men’s eyes have been opened to the need to change their lives and are desperately seeking and hoping against hope for that change to happen somehow during their time away to “learn their lesson”.  They realize that whatever crime they were convicted of will not compare to the crime that will be committed if they return to their families, loved ones and society the same man in need of salvation & healing they left them as.  These men pour in through the doors here in the intake facilities wondering how can this miraculous transformation possibly happen when I am sure to be walking into such a place so concentrated with worldly culture like prison… You that is how!

We are on the front lines Christian Brothers & Sisters to welcome believers and non-believers alike to be partakers in God’s bountiful grace.  By embracing them in the love our savior Jesus Christ commanded us to share.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, that ye love one another as I have loved you.

We at All For HIM Ministries encourage our brothers and sisters in Christ to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all those in need right where you are.

In my dorm, we participate in group Bible Studies twice a day and a prayer circle at night providing an opportunity to come and feast on the bread of life (God’s Word), and pray and fellowship with one another.

This provides an environment for people seeking God in their lives to get plugged into God’s Word and begin the transformation into Godly Vessels – fathers/mothers, husbands/wives, and sons/daughters God intends for us to be.

You can guarantee the worldly forces ingrained into our prison systems will be there to greet them, but will you be an ambassador of God’s love?

Will you welcome others when they come through the door?  We at All For HIM are “All In” and here to send out the message of encouragement to believers right where you are to share God’s Word and bear each other’s burdens as we all renew our minds in Christ and embrace God’s purpose for our lives.

We give thanks to our Chaplains Department here “behind the walls” for all their sacrifice and effort to bring God’s Word to the incarcerated masses with assembly in the chapels, choirs, music and other Christ related classes and functions. The sheer number of souls that they are responsible for is great and they have my respect and love as a fellow minister of God’s Word.

Let’s face it though, each unit gets one Chaplain to serve the entire population, sometimes it is a 2,000 to 1 ratio.  This gives them a near impossible task by human standards to overcome as meeting the needs of everyone all the time is not realistic.  Yes, they get some volunteers from time to time, but the harvest is great!  This is where you and I come in, we are all disciples and ministers (servants) of God’s Word and have been charged with sharing of that gift and to serve one another.

John 15:17 (NKJV) These things I command you, that you love one another.

Galatians 6:2 (NKJV) Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Hebrews 3:13 (NIV) But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

1 Peter 4:10 (NKJV) As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.

We are all disciples and ministers (servants) of God’s Word and have been charged with the sharing of that gift and to serve one another.

I pray that you, servant of God, will pick up the mantle where you are.

  • Welcome those seeking God with open arms and provide an environment for fellowship and growth in God’s Word.
  • No prayer circle in your dorm – start one! Learn to serve your brothers and be an instrument for God’s purposes.
  • No Bible Study available – start a small group!  Write us and we will be happy to help you get started. Just write us here at All For HIM Ministries and we will get you materials to teach from.

Be an instrument for God’s pleasure today.

Sincerely your brother in Bondage, yet free in Christ,

I’m All in and it’s All For HIM!
